I care about privacy and transparency. This page explains what information is processed when you visit this website, why it is needed, and how it is handled.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
This website is operated by:
Belal AL-AMERIRegistered as a micro-entrepreneur in France
SIRET: 989 924 139 00011
Professional address:
200 Rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France
Contact: hi@raydan.me
2. What data is collected?
This website does not ask for or intentionally collect directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or postal address.
I use anonymous and cookieless analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are viewed the most.
PostHog uses a privacy-preserving hash calculated on its servers to count anonymous visits. IP addresses are stripped before analytics transformations and are not stored in the resulting analytics events.
- No accounts or identified user profiles
- No analytics cookies or browser storage
- No session recordings
- No heatmaps
- No fingerprinting
- No advertising data
3. Analytics: PostHog (EU)
The site uses PostHog Web Analytics, configured in cookieless and anonymous mode, and hosted in the European Union.
PostHog processes limited analytics information such as:
- Pages viewed
- Device and browser type in general categories
- Referrers
- Anonymous visit and session counts
This information helps me improve the website. I do not call PostHog’s identification features or intentionally send directly identifying information to PostHog.
For more details, see PostHog’s privacy documentation.
4. Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which automatically collects basic technical logs for security and performance purposes (for example: IP address used temporarily for security checks, timezone, device type).
These logs are stored securely and are not used for marketing or tracking.
5. No cookies
PostHog runs in always-cookieless mode. It does not store analytics data in cookies, local storage, or session storage on your browser.
If cookies ever become necessary in the future (for example, if I add payments or user accounts), this policy will be updated.
6. Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data that concerns you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to analytics
- Request information about the processing
Since no identified user profiles are created, these rights will rarely apply to the analytics data. You can always contact me at hi@raydan.me.
7. Changes to this policy
If I add features such as user accounts, a contact form, or online payments, this policy will be updated accordingly.
